“I want to fix our infrastructure system first and foremost,” Stewart said. “You can fix the facade, but if the underground is crumbling, what good is the face-lift. I don’t believe in short-term fixes for long-term problems and that is a common theme under this administration.”

New Britain Historical Society President Amy Kirby said the City announced new rules this week for those interested in purchasing the Hatch Building that purposely eliminates the society from acquiring the building.
